ANTON JOHANN "TONY" NEFF
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Tony passed away peacefully January 5, 2008 in Idaho Falls. He was born February 1, 1922 in Appenzell, Switzerland to Anton and Maria Neff. He had a zest for life and a wonderful sense of humor. He was a farmer, truck driver, and a rancher.
He married Norma Waters on October 29, 1977 in Elko, Nevada. They had no children. He is survived by his wife, Norma Neff, his children, from a previous marriage, Anton W. Neff of Indiana, Jacob Neff of Switzerland, Helen Barefoot of North Carolina, Verena Mauer and Rita Patten of Washington; a brother Jack Neff and a sister Maria Steiner of Washington; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. His siblings Elizabeth, Alois and Joe preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. January 11, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home 273 N. Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls.

Sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was a great guy. I worked with Tony for a few years at the stockyards. My dad also passed last October, Dorsel Webster, he was the foreman at the stockyards for many years until he retired. Haven't seen Tony or Norma in many years, but still recall them both very well. Very good people.
