Anthony John "Tony" LeVasseur, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away on December 6, 2020, from a year long struggle with cancer at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born February 9, 1961, in Bay City, Michigan, to Arthur Buck and Anne J "Cabala" LeVasseur. He worked as a long haul truck drive and carpenter. Tony retired from Jenkins Lumber in Alpine, Wyoming.
Through his lifetime, Tony lived in Auburn, Michigan. Afton, Wyoming, and Ammon, Idaho. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing and Nascar.
Tony is survived by three daughters, Amy (Erick) Delp and their children, Brett, Zane and Tad; Julia Scott and her children, Kendall Jackson, Wyatt Woods, and Bobby Bates; Samantha (Dustin) Peebles and their children, Kathleen and James Brevik.; uncles and aunts, Carol and James Campbell, Joan and William Clements, William and Kathleen LeVasseur, Patrica and Matt Cerbin, Dale and Kelly LeVasseur, Mary Cabala and Sandra Cabala; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Chris Moon and Robi Hilstead.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, cousin, Jason Endline; aunts and uncles, Victoria (Chester) Niemiec, Thresa (Walter) Jankowiak, Edward, Mitchell (Janet) Walter, Peter and Paul Cabala; cousins-in-law, Bill Rusho, Al Morse, and Randy White; and second cousin, Shawn White.
