LEONA CORNWALL
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Annie Leona Hall Cornwall, 90, of
Idaho Falls, died February 23, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical
Center.
She was born September 28, 1914 in Garland, Utah to Ewin
Racine Hall and Mariah C. Pease Hall. Her family moved to Pocatello where
she attended schools.
On July 6, 1935, she married Leo Ortell Cornwall in Inkom,
Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
She was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Rebeccas and Daughters
of the Utah Pioneers. She was also a member of the Union Pacific Fireman
Ladies for 30 years and serviced as a Delegate for the 1963 National Convention.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she served in various positions. She enjoyed crocheting, reading,
traveling, fishing, and quilting. Leona especially loved being with her
family.

Son: Vernon (Julie) Cornwall, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Harold Cornwall, Pocatello, ID
Son: Howard (Irma) Cornwall, Pocatello, ID
26 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Dorothy Hathaway;
2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February
26, 2005, at the Pocatello West Stake (3444 Hawthorne), with Bishop Nyle
Taylor of the Pocatello 52nd Ward officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6:30-8:00
p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and from 12:00-12:45 p.m. prior
to the services at the church in Pocatello.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
