Annette Frandsen Beck Torres, 75, of Ucon, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018, after a long hard battle with congestive heart failure. She was surrounded by family members at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center when she took her last breath on this earth. Annette was born June 2, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Melvin C. Frandsen and Ivy Lavender Field Frandsen. She grew up and attended schools in Iona and graduated from Bonneville High School. On March 13, 1964, she married Stephen Allen Beck in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Annette spoke fondly of Stephen as he was the love of her life. To this union were born eight children: David, Bonnie, Kathy, Philip, Karl, Kent, Jason, and Ryan. Annette and Stephen made their home in Ucon, Idaho. Stephen passed away in 1976. On March 17, 1978, she married Domingo Gonzalez Torres in Ucon. They added two more children: Angelia, and Perla. Annette and Domingo made their home in Ucon, Idaho, where Annette worked from home, tending many children. Domingo passed away in 1994. Annette was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who exemplified compassion in her everyday life. She enjoyed giving to everyone and she loved being with her family. Annette had many struggles losing two spouses and a son; however, she never wavered in her testimony of the gospel. She was a source of strength to those around her and was a pillar in her community. She will be missed by all, especially her family. Annette is survived by son, David (Christine) Beck of Idaho Falls; daughter, Bonnie Beck of Idaho Falls; daughter, Kathy (Jay) Dye of Idaho Falls; son, Philip (Julie) Beck of Idaho Falls; son, Kent (Ruth) Beck of Idaho Falls; son, Jason (Jessica) Beck of Idaho Falls; son, Ryan (Jennifer) Beck of Idaho Falls; daughter, Angelia (Jared) LeBlanc of Idaho Falls; daughter, Perla Scott of Idaho Falls; 34 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen Allen Beck; second husband, Domingo Gonzalez Torres; her parents; and a son, Karl Beck. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at the Ucon LDS Stake Center, 2967 East 105th North, with Bishop Jay Neeser officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery.
