Annette Nancy (Crane) Anderson

Annette Nancy Anderson, 83, of Ammon, passed away October 23, 2023, at her home.

Annette was born March 29, 1940, in American Falls, Idaho, to Lafoy Kerol Crane and Florence May Southwell Crane. She grew up and attended schools in American Falls and graduated from American Falls High School. Annette went on to graduate from ISU Technical College in 2004.

On October 10, 1960, she married Barry Lee Anderson in American Falls. Annette and Barry were blessed with five children, Donna, Lynnie, Valerie, Vince, and Amber.

She loved Jesus and shared the good news of salvation with everyone she encountered. Annette was a successful business owner for over 50 years and cared for many children in the community. Annette enjoyed singing and loved crafts. She could make something from nothing.

Annette is survived by her loving children, Lynnie (Donny) Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID, Valerie (William) Jones of Ririe, ID, Vince Anderson of Shelley, ID, Amber (Dana) Madsen of Idaho Falls, ID; two brothers, Gary (Barbara) Crane of Nampa, ID and Lee (Brenda) Crane of Pocatello, ID; sister, Joyce (Glenn) Horsch of Pocatello, ID; 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lafoy and Florence Crane; daughter, Donna Lee Anderson Hope; and ex-husband, Barry Lee Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
