Anne Skillings

Doris Anne Skillings, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 29, 2024, in Ririe, Idaho.

Anne was born February 14, 1964, in Santa Maria, California, to Leo Arvine Pittman and Sharie A. Slaathaug. She grew up and attended schools in St. Anthony and graduated from South Fremont High School. She also attended the College of Nursing in Idaho Falls.

She married Weldon Skillings in 2005. They were later divorced. Anne made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she worked as an LPN for Teton Healthcare of Cascadia.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed mushroom picking, floating down rivers, sewing, going for drives, crocheting, camping, and especially spending time with her family.

Anne is survived by her son, Mark Eckman of St. Anthony, ID; daughter, Sylina (Spencer) Leak of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Scott (Aurora) Eckman of Thornton, ID; daughter, Amber (Brad) Jeppson of Saratoga Springs, UT; brother, Steven Pittman of Kuna, ID; mother, Sharie Peterson of Kuna, ID; and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Pittman; grandmother, Jessie Hubble; and grandfather, Henry Truman Slaathaug.

A gathering will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
