Anne Graham

Anne McDaniel Graham, 66, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away July 25, 2017, at her home. She was under the care of Solace Hospice.

Anne was born December 10, 1950, in Salisbury, North Carolina, to James Gilbert McDaniel and Carolyn Bernice Brown McDaniel. She grew up and attended schools in Woodleaf, North Carolina, and graduated from West Rowan High School. She also attended Western Carolina University.

On May 23, 1970, she married Richard Clark Graham in Chesterfield, South Carolina. To this union were born three children, Scott, Carmen, and Nicholas. Anne and Rick moved and worked extensively throughout their life together. Highlights include Anne’s work as a master tailor (Anne’s Silver Threads) in the wedding industry in Baltimore, Maryland, a wedding cake master baker at Sugarplum Desserts in Branson, Missouri, and director of the Alzheimer’s unit and director of marketing at The Laurels in Salisbury, North Carolina. They moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in 2016 to be close to their grandchildren and family.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the ocean with all her heart. She was talented at everything she touched including sewing, decorating, baking, and anything creative. She loved to ride horses.

Anne is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Rick Graham of Idaho Falls, ID; son, James Scott (Bren) Graham of Tampa, FL; daughter, Carmen Christy (James) Gibb of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Brian Nicholas Graham of Baltimore, MD; sister, Carolyn Kay Wright of Woodleaf, NC; six grandchildren, Jessica Anne Moffett, Ashley Noel Gibb (Currently serving a full time mission in Arcadia, California.), Chelsea Elizabeth Gibb, Dustin James Gibb, Marley Jude Beaton, and Kaleigh Jordan Beaton and one great granddaughter, Claire Anne Moffett.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James "Jimmy" McDaniel.
