Cora Anne Wynn Gooch, 83, of Ashton, Idaho, passed away September 12, 2017, at her home. She was born October 23, 1933, in Preston, Idaho, to Paul Richard Wynn and Mary Ellen Hemsley Wynn. She attended schools in Preston and Ashton and graduated from North Fremont High School. She continued her education at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. On October 21, 1953, she married Keith Rich Gooch in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, and also worked as a medical receptionist. Anne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed reading, quilting, playing cards and games, going to the casinos, and traveling - especially through Yellowstone National Park. She also loved spending time with her four sisters, her children and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Keith Rich Gooch of Ashton, ID; daughter, LeAnne (Thomas "Buddy") Cox of Boise, ID; daughter, Susan (Chuck) Raines of Ashton, ID; son, Paul (Colleen) Gooch of Eagle, ID; son, Michael Gooch of Palm Springs, CA; sister, Irene Godfrey of Orem, UT; brother, Ross Wynn of Ashton, ID; brother, Val (Virginia) Wynn of Escondido, CA; sister, Jeannie (Jim) Dericott of Lehi, UT; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, David and Robert Wynn; and two sisters, June Winward and Mary Ellen Peterson. A gathering will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017, at the Ashton LDS Stake Center, 516 North 2nd Street, Ashton, ID 83420. A family gathering will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Idaho Falls LDS Park Taylor Ward, 1291 West 6500 South, Idaho Falls, ID 83404.
