Anne Julia (Cabala) Levasseur

Anne Julia (Cabala) LeVasseur, 80, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away January 12, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was under the care of Brio Hospice.

Anne was born January 18, 1940, in Munger, Michigan, to Walter F. Cabala and Mary A. (Moncman) Cabala. She grew up in Bay City, Michigan, and was a member of the Catholic church throughout her life.

In 1961, she married Arthur P. LeVasseur in Bay City. They were blessed with one son, Anthony. Anne and Arthur lived in Auburn, Michigan, Afton, and Jackson, Alpine, Wyoming, eventually relocated to Ammon, Idaho.

Anne is survived by three grandchildren, Amy, Julie, and Samantha; 10 great-grandchildren, 8 boys and 2 girls; sisters-in-law, Mary Cabala and Sandra Cabala; in-laws, Carol and James Campbell, Joan and William Clements, William and Kathleen LeVasseur, Patrica and Matt Cerbin, Dale and Kelly LeVasseur. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur (October 2018); son, Anthony “Tony” Levasseur (December 6, 2020); her parents, Walter and Mary Cabala; sisters and spouses, Victoria (Chester) Niemiec, Thresa (Walter) Jankowiak; and five brothers, Edward, Mitchell (Janet), Walter, and twins, Peter and Paul Cabala. Private family services will be held.
