Annamarie French

AnnaMarie was born December 25, 1934, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Earnest Lake and Violet Mathilda Petersen Lake. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Riverside Elementary School and Idaho Falls High School. On December 5, 1953, she married Harold Earle French in Idaho Falls. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where they raised their four children, Gary, Michelle, Robert, and Bruce. They were later divorced. AnnaMarie was a homemaker and mother. She worked as an operator at Mountain Bell. She also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Good Samaritan Society, Riverview Hospital Nursing Home, and IF Group Homes. AnnaMarie enjoyed crafts, making dolls, crocheting, sewing, cross stitch, and cooking. AnnaMarie is survived by her Son, Gary (Mary) French of Iona, ID, Daughter, Michelle (Mike) Moedl of Idaho Falls, ID, Son, Robert (Lorri) French of Idaho Falls, ID, Son, Bruce (Julie) French of Idaho Falls, ID; Brother, Earnest Lake of Idaho Falls, ID; 6 granddaughters, Heidi (Vernon) Miller, Anna Maria (Lee) Jones,Angie (Luke) Shumway, Christy French, Brittnie French, and McKenzie French; 2 grandsons, Dustin French and Samuel French; 7 great grandchildren, Desiree Miller, Amanda Rice, Peyton Shumway, Kaylob Rice, Dusty Rhoades, Crystal French, and Adison French;Step-grandson, Stephen Denison and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Violet Lake; three brothers, Arthur Lake, August Lake, and Ivan Lake; and four sisters, Violet Lake, Merry Lake, Otense Lake, and Arline Dunlap. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Rose Hill Cemetery, 2355 Rollandet, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
