Anna Carlotta (Stevens) Hunter

Anna Carlotta Hunter, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Christ Jesus on August 25, 2024, at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice and her loving family.

Anna was born September 27, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Heber Russell Stevens and Jessie Rosemond Robbins Stevens. She grew up and attended school in Spencer, Idaho.

On April 20, 1959, she married Bernard Donald Hunter in Idaho Falls. Anna and Bernard made their home in Idaho Falls, moved to Shelley, Idaho, in 1965, and back to Idaho Falls in 2017. They were blessed with three children, Calvin, Jeanine, and Bernadine.

She was a member of River of Life Church and Curves Fitness Company. Anna was an avid reader, enjoyed crafts, and putting puzzles together. She also participated in her church choir, enjoyed gospel music, and prayed for her church and family regularly. She really enjoyed spending time with, and showering love, on her family.

Anna is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Bernard Donald Hunter of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Calvin (Tina) Hunter of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Jeanine (Lee) Cadwallader of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Bernadine (Robert) Goddard of Somis, CA; sister, Eleanor Hensley of Dubois, ID; sister, D. Marie Cox of Kyle, TX; brother, Jay Stevens of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Rendell Stevens of Lewisville, ID; sister, Renita Stevens of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Colleen Harp of Spearfish, SD; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren (soon to be 12).

She was preceded in death by her parents and her ten siblings, Arthur Stevens, Rose Martinez, Weldon Stevens, Violet "Irene" Mustos, Evert Stevens, Darryl Ray Stevens, Melvin Stevens, Iris Hunter, Ira Stevens, and Donnie Stevens.

Family and friends are invited to a "Celebration of Life" at 2:00 p.m. on September 28, 2024, at River of Life Church, 525 S. Boulevard, Idaho Falls, ID. 83401. The family encourages casual dress and wearing her favorite color purple.
