Ann Nita (Rumsey) Jensen

Ann Nita Rumsey Jensen, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 19, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Ann Nita was born March 3, 1944, to George Blaine Rumsey and Fern Marion Andrew Rumsey in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She attended Shelley High School where she was a cheerleader and a friend to many over her lifetime. She married her high school sweetheart, Michael Vern Jensen, on January 18, 1962, and they had four children who are: Brian, Kelly, Jared, and Jodi. They lived in Idaho Falls on Jameston Road on a family farm for many years. Ann Nita was a loving mother and grandmother and loved spending time with family. Ann Nita also loved working on numerous projects and crafts like refinishing furniture, sewing, knitting, cooking, painting, and many other home crafts. Ann Nita was so proud of her family and always told them how much she loved them. Ann Nita worked as a bookkeeper.

Ann Nita is survived by her sons, Brian M. Jensen, Kelly R. Jensen, and Jared J Jensen; daughter, Jodi A. Arnold; sisters, Karen F. Judy and Jan Shelby Boyle; brothers, Doyle A. Rumsey and Michael B. Rumsey; granddaughters, Brooke Bentley, Morgan Jensen, Aeriel Jensen, Chanda Jensen, Lindsey Mclaughlan, and Brittany Hancey; grandsons, Joel Jensen, Blake Jensen, Dakota Jensen, Hayden Jensen, and Jesse Harper.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Darlene F. Rumsey, Thail Y. Leonard, and Virgene Rumsey.

The family is planning a celebration of life at a future time. They will notify friends and family when plans are made.
