Click Here To View Memorial Video Angelina Regina (Ann) McAtee, 92, residing at Lincoln Court Assisted Living in Idaho Falls, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Ann was born in Portland, Oregon on May 10, 1921. She was the ninth child of John and Margret Krieger. She moved with her large family to Idaho Falls in the early 1930's. She attended Holy Rosary School and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. Ann married Von McAtee on August 24, 1942 in Idaho Falls. Their first child, Roger Kaye was born the following year while Von was serving in World War II. Following the war, two additional sons were added to the family, Gary Allen and Richard Frank. After Von’s death in 1979, Ann was both a waitress and house cleaner. It was during this time that Ann met many nice people, who remained friends to her death. Ann is survived by: Son, Gary (Vicki) McAtee; Daughter-In-Law, Kerry McAtee; Grandchildren, Mendi (Paul) Bradley, Jennifer McAtee and Jaralyn (TJ) VanderLinden; Four Great Grandchildren, McKinnon and Jace Bradley, and Lily and RJ VanderLinden; Brother, Pete (Janiece) Krieger; Sister, Rose Cleveland; Sister-In-Law, Bonnie Newman; and many nieces and nephews that Ann appreciated and loved very much. Ann was also preceded in death by two sons, Roger and Rick, as well as ten of her twelve brothers and sisters. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Wood Funeral Home Chapel of the Pines, 273 N. Ridge, with Father Jose Ramirez of Holy Rosary Catholic Church officiating. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to services. Burial will follow the services at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family requests that any donations be made to the Child Development Center, 2475 Leslie Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho, 83402, in Ann McAtee’s name.
