Anita Conan

Anita Gay Rowberry Conan, 55, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away October 13, 2015, at her home, from complications of cancer. She was under the care of her family and Teton Healthcare. Anita was born March 11, 1960, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Morris LaDell Rowberry and Joyce Marlene Godby Rowberry. Following the death of her mother, her father brought her to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to live with his sister and brother-in-law, Boyd and LaFern Wilde, where they raised her from the age of 11 as one of their own. Shortly after, her father passed away in Salt Lake City. She grew up and attended schools in Jackson Hole, and graduated from Jackson Hole High School. She also attended Career Beauty College in Rexburg, Idaho. On March 4, 1983, she married Brent Raymond Conan in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born three children, Erica, Ryan, and Alana. Their marriage was solemnized July 6, 2011, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Anita and Brent made their home in Idaho Falls, where Anita was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked as a cosmetologist in her youth and always worked with Brent in the family business, Conan Heating. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in Primary, Young Women’s, Relief Society, and on the Activities Committee. Anita loved spending time with her family and being involved in her church. Anita is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Brent Conan of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Erica Rachel Conan of Henderson, NV, son, Ryan Brent Conan of Cedar City, UT, daughter, Alana Celine Conan of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Shane (Kathy) Kingrey of Redding, CA, brother, Ty Kingrey of Glenoma, WA, brother, Jason Price of Salt Lake City, UT; She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Joyce Rowberry, and her uncle and aunt, Boyd & LaFern Wilde. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the Idaho Falls LDS Skyline Ward, 2345 West 17th South, with Bishop Brett Webb officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
