Angelia Marie Carter Kishiyama, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully while sitting in her flower garden at home early Sunday morning, July 3, 2011.
Angie was born September 3, 1952 in Salmon, Idaho, to Howard Carter and DeNiece Jensen Carter. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls.
On November 30, 1978, she married her soul mate, Spencer Kishiyama. Together they raised Brandy, Eric, and Laurie. Angie loved all those that became a part of her life. She was a momma to many.
Angie loved her family, enjoyed gardening, carving, sewing and fishing. She especially loved the outdoors where she enjoyed spending time with family, pointing out the splendors of the littlest of things most would never notice, and shared them with us. Angie loved going fishing with Spencer, a past time they shared.
Survivors include her loving husband, Spencer Kishiyama of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Brandy (Eric) Wahlers of Boise, ID; son, Eric (Melissa) Walker of Blackfoot, ID; step-daughter, Laurie (Rob) Gepford of Nampa, ID; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; father, Howard Carter of Redding, CA; sister, Kathy (Tom) Park of Corvallis, OR; and brother, Lester (Anita) Carter of Redding, CA.
A celebration of Angie’s life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2011 in her garden at her home, 1027 Elmore Ave., Idaho Falls, with Dan Kishiyama officiating. Burial will be in Ammon Cemtery. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls.
