Angelina Blair Vega

Angelina Marie Blair Vega, 42, of Idaho Falls, passed away on February 17, 2015, at her home following surgery. She was born August 14, 1972, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Manuel M. Vasquez and Margaret J. Blair Vasquez. She grew up in the area and attended A.H. Bush Elementary, Eagle Rock Junior High, and graduated from Skyline High School. On February 7, 1993, she married Jose Luis Vega Rodriguez in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was a devoted wife, mother, and aunt. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Angelina enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, crafts, and her daily trips to Starbucks. She loved watching her kids, nieces, and nephews play sports and was so giving, especially at Christmas time. She loved spending time with her great nieces and nephews. She had the biggest heart in the whole world and loved taking care of everyone. Survivors are: Husband: Jose Vega, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Abel Vega Jr., Idaho Falls, ID Son: Ivan Luis Vega, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Thalia Marisol Vega, Idaho Falls, ID Father: Manuel Vasquez, Idaho Falls, ID Stepfather: Samuel (Maria) Lopez, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Travis Blair, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Agustin (Socorro) Vasquez, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Juan Vasquez, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Manuel (Amber) Vasquez, Idaho Falls, ID Uncle: Ed (Debbie) Johnson, Idaho Falls, ID She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret JoAnn Blair and Grandmother, Margie Montgomery. The family suggests donations be made to the Angelina Blair Vega Memorial Fund at any Zion's Bank. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015, at the Idaho Falls LDS Township Ward (5255 South 5th West) with Bishop Todd Harris officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and on Friday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
