Luis Angel Vargas passed away October 19, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Angel was born July 10, 1992, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Maria Elena Geyer and Adrian Chavez. The one person who took him in as an infant, and the only person Angel considered his mom, was Ranae Reyes. Angel was raised in Idaho Falls and attended local schools.
Angel married Shantell Dawn Anderson August 27, 2011, in Idaho Falls. From this union three beautiful children were born, Iziah, Khianna and Jazlyn. He was recently employed at Basic Energy Services in Dickinson, North Dakota.
He loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Angel enjoyed the time he had with his brothers, but the most joy he had in life was the time he spent with his children. They meant the world to him.
Angel is survived by his wife, Shantell, and their three children, Iziah, Khianna, and Jazlyn, his mom, Ranae Reyes, his brothers, Derek, Danny, Manny, Jose, Clemente, Isael and Juan Carlos, sisters, Jazel and Jazmin, grandmother, Brenda Haley, also his birth parents, Maria Elena Geyer and Adrian Chavez. Angel was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard F Haley.
Angel left a lasting imprint on the many lives he touched throughout the short time he’s had here on earth. He will now forever be at peace with our Heavenly Father, with the arms of his Guardian Angels wrapped around him in love and comfort.
