Aner Abelson

ANER ABELSON IDAHO FALLS, ID - Aner Abelson, 88, of Idaho Falls, died October 26, 2003, at Life Care Center. He was born August 4, 1915, in Idaho Falls, to Henry Carl and Elin Abelson. He attended public school in Idaho Falls. Aner was a farmer most of his life, and also worked as a ditch rider for the New Sweden Irrigation District before retiring. He was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge, and as a member of the National Rifle Association, he was awarded their “Legion of Honor” member. Aner enjoyed flying and was a private pilot. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2003, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
