William Andrew "Andy" Mower, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away on January 8, 2017, at Turtle & Crane Assisted Living.

William was born March 25, 1936, in Ashton, Idaho, to William Harold Mower and Lillie Jane House Mower. He grew up and attended schools in the area.

On June 9, 1956, he married Wanda Lou Rawson in St. Anthony, Idaho. To this union were born six children: William, Mary, Pauline, Trenna, Gary, and Karen. Andy and Wanda lived in numerous cities throughout Southeast Idaho including Dubois, Rigby, Ashton, Idaho Falls, Roberts, Greentimber, and Ucon. He worked as an auto mechanic, carpenter, and did timberwork.

Andy loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

William is survived by son, William J. (Julie) Mower of Rexburg, ID; daughter, Mary (Kelly) Whitaker of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Pauline J. (Jeff) Davies of Ririe, ID; daughter, Trenna L. (Mike) Biorn of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Gary (Cheryl) Mower of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Karen F. Maxwell of Boise, ID; brother, Harold A. Mower of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Lyndon J. (Linda) Mower of Twin Falls, ID; 18 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, David Mower; and two sisters, Norma Reynold and Margaret Viola Two.

A gathering for friends and family will be held from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). Burial will follow at Ashton Cemetery.
