Andrew Eldridge Goldsberry

Andrew Eldridge Goldsberry, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 16, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society Idaho Falls Village.

Andrew was born August 15, 1935, in Fairview, Idaho, to Verlin Stacy Goldsberry and Mary Jane Andrews Goldsberry. He joined the United States Army and served in the Korean War.

On May 13, 1958, he married Jillette Mae Johnson in Salt Lake City, Utah. Andrew and Jillette made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Andrew worked as a truck driver for Andrus Trucking until he retired.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, camping, and working on cars.

Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Jillette Mae Goldsberry of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Mary Jane Goldsberry of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Betty (Mike) Mitchell of Pasco, WA; son, Frank J. (Karry) Goldsberry of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Andra Goldsberry of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter-in-law, Dottie Stephenson of Sun Valley, NV; brother, Frank Fuell of Firth, ID; sister, Wanda Likes of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, LouAnn Curtis; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Wayne H. Goldsberry; daughter, Cindy A. Goldsberry; son, Andrew L. Goldsberry; and daughter, Belinda M. Goldsberry.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with Bishop Byron officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Blackfoot, Idaho. Military Honors will be performed by the American Legion Post 93 and the Idaho Honor Guard.
