Amy Dawn Mickelsen Yorgesen, 44, of Ammon, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2026, at her home.
Amy was born April 24, 1981, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Steven Lawrence Mickelsen and Joleen Kay Tuxhorn Satterthwaite. She grew up and attended schools in Ucon and graduated from Caldwell High School.
On June 6, 1998, she married J.D. Law in the Boise, Idaho Temple. They were blessed with three children, Madison, Braden, and Hudson. Amy and J.D. were later divorced.
She married Jason Yorgesen on May 25, 2018, in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced.
Amy made her home in Ammon, Idaho, where she worked as a real estate agent. She also worked at Alaska Airlines and Andersen Manufacturing.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crafts, sports, skiing, and boating.
Amy is survived by her children, Madison Krystal Law, Braden Joshua Law, and Hudson Jesse Law; mother, Joleen Satterthwaite of Ammon, ID; father, Steven (Suzanne) Mickelsen of Middleton, ID; sister, Jennifer (Ryan) Andersen of Ammon, ID; brother, Robert (Eileen) Mickelsen of Nampa, ID; sister, Jessica (Jordan) Harris of Saratoga Springs, UT; sister, Kaylee (Jarom) Owens of Chester, ID; brother, Tyler Mickelsen of Middleton, ID; and grandfather, Lorin Pete Mickelsen.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Darlene Mickelsen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Ammon 21st Ward, 4030 John Adams Parkway, with Bishop Mitch Freed officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery.
