Amerigo Lazzarotto - 04/14/2003 Amerigo Lazzarotto - 04/14/2003 AMERIGO LAZZAROTTO IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Amerigo “Shorty” Lazzarotto, 89, of Idaho Falls, died April 14, 2003 at Life Care Center. He was born June 1, 1913 in Montecito, California to Domenico Lazzarotto and Antonia Lazzarotto. He was raised and attended schools in Las Vegas, Nevada. He moved from Southern California to Idaho Falls in 1976. He worked in Torrance California for Armco Steel. He married Veda June Standley on September 21, 1980 in Elko, Nevada. He was a member of the Lutheran church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling in his motor home. He also was a member of the Eagles. Surviving are:Wife: Veda Lazzarotto, Idaho Falls, IDSon; Larry (Pat) Lazzarotto, of Spanish Fork, UTSon; Garry Lazzarotto, Albany, ORStepdaughter; Carma O’Neil, Idaho FallsStepson; Lonnie (Rose) Wilde, Idaho FallsStepson, Lynn (Sandy)Wilde, Idaho FallsStepson; Leslie (Monica) Wilde, Idaho Falls 18 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his sister, Bruna; and two brothers, Albert and Aurelia. Graveside Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2003 at Fielding Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Wood East Side (963 S. Ammon).
