Alyce Marie Krause Hansen, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away on February 11, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 4, 1930, in Logan, Utah to Alma Vernon Krause and Phyllis Grace Keveren Krause. She attended Midway High School in Lewisville, Idaho before moving to California where she graduated from Placer Union High School.
On June 23, 1948, she married Harold Laurel Hansen in Rigby, Idaho. They were married for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in July of 1958. She was a mother and homemaker and worked at Suburban Propane. Alyce also volunteered at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many positions including Relief Society President. Mom loved teaching her daughters cooking and sewing. She was involved in 4-H and loved helping others in their time of need.

Son-in-law: Dave Taylor, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Vernon (Jean) Krause, Auburn, CA
8 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Granddaughter
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Karen Taylor; and a grandson, Steven Taylor.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013, in the Milo LDS Church (12127 North 75th East) with Bishop Mike Harrigfeld, of the Foothill Ward, officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon) and on Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Grant Central Cemetery.
