Alta Croft

ALTA H. CROFT IDAHO FALLS, ID - Alta Harriett Croft, 80, of Idaho Falls, died February 24, 2005, at Life Care Center; the family expresses their appreciation for the good care she had during her time there. She was born November 6, 1924, in Ammon, Idaho, to John Albert Carter and Catherine Elizabeth Empey Carter. She attended schools in the Ammon area graduating from High School. She married Dean Levon Croft May 11, 1940, in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized August 3, 1979 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, she had served in various positions. Her family was the most important aspect of her life, and she loved cooking and spending time at their family cabin in Island Park. Surviving are: Son: Larry Dean (JoAnn) Croft, Henderson, NV Daughter: Linda (Steven)Hampton, Shelley, ID Son: S. Dan (Joann) Croft, Idaho Falls, ID 12Grandchildren, 31Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband 2 sisters, 3 brothers, one grandson, Tyler, and one great grandson, Ryan. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Monday, February 28, 2005, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends Monday for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
