Allona May Butler, 69, of Meridian, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away August 24, 2018, at Grace Memory Care in Meridian, Idaho.
Allona was born October 18, 1948, in Rigby, Idaho, to Garfield Brammer and Ruby Staggie Brammer. She attended Iona Elementary, Ammon Junior High and graduated from Bonneville High School.
On January 26, 1968, she married Robert Verl Butler in Iona, Idaho. To this union were born two daughters, Cynthia and Trina. Allona and Robert made their home in Idaho Falls.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Allona enjoyed Camping with her family, crafts, sewing and scrap booking. She loved reading and playing games with her family.
Allona is survived by her loving daughters Trina (Mike) Hanson of Meridian, ID and Cindy (Frank) Davis of Hampton, NJ; brother, Lionel (Linda) Brammer of Spring, TX; brother, Keith (Sharon) Brammer of Ammon, ID; brother, Craig (Judy) Brammer of Ammon, ID; sister, Darlene DeSomer of Kearns, UT; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Verl Butler; parents, Garfield and Ruby Brammer; and sister, June Brammer.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior. Burial will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery.
