ALICE NELSON
REXBURG, ID -- Alice Harris Nelson, 87, of Idaho Falls,
died November 9, 2004, at Teton House in Rexburg.
She was born June 6, 1917 in Brigham City, Utah, to William
Henry Harris and Adela Clark Harris. She attended schools in the area, graduating
from Box Elder High School. She then attended Weber College in Ogden, Utah.
On February 9, 1939, she married Vaughn C. Nelson in the
Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was a devoted mother and homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. Alice enjoyed golf, playing bridge, cooking, sewing, reading and
writing.

Daughter: Christine “Chris” Probasco, Salt Lake City, UT
Son: Roderick “Rod” V. (Trenna) Nelson, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Tyler H. Nelson, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Kathryn “Katie” N. (Michael) Metcalf, Spokane, WA
Son: James “Jim” Henry (Barbara) Nelson, St. Anthony, ID
Brother: Richard Harris, Salt Lake City, UT
10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and 2 brothers.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November
12, 2004, at the Idaho Falls LDS 16th Ward (885 S. Boulevard), with Don
Gerard officiating.
The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to
the serivces.
Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home, P. O. Box 51434, Idaho Falls, ID 83405-1434.
