Alice (Borgesen) Beaty

Alice Beaty, 91, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away July 11, 2019, at Good Samaritan Society. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

Alice was born October 12, 1927, in Shelley, Idaho, to Amel Borgesen and Verga Bradshaw. She grew up and attended schools in Shelley, Idaho.

On May 11, 1945, she married Warren Beaty Jr. Together, they had seven children, Marvin, Doug, Sherline, Bob, Leonard, Loyd, and Diana. Alice and Warren made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Alice enjoyed being a mother to her children.

Alice had many hobbies. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, baking, and doing crossword puzzles. Most of all, her family and grandchildren meant everything to her.

Alice is survived by her loving sons, Leonard Beaty of Idaho Falls; Doug (Linda) Beaty of Idaho Falls; Bob Beaty of Idaho Falls; Marvin (Susie) Beaty of Idaho Falls; daughters, Sherline (John) Bjerkvig of Sutherlin, OR; Diana (Bruce) Beaty of Idaho Falls; brother, Virgil "Pug" (Vickie) Bradshaw; 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Loyd Beaty; brothers, Bill Borgesen and Bob Bradshaw; and sister, Elaine Bradshaw.
