Alexander Plaza

Alexander Arnold Plaza, 58, passed away in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on November 1, 2015, of natural causes. Alexander was born February 13, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, to Arnold Jesse Plaza and Theresa Alice Dykes Plaza. His family relocated to El Paso, Texas, in 1970. He graduated from El Paso High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He also earned a law degree from the Brooklyn Law School. Alexander resided in New York City for many years. Most recently, he lived in Idaho, where he worked in the healthcare field. He was an avid bicyclist, and enjoyed reading, theater and movies. Alexander is survived by his parents, Theresa Plaza of El Paso, TX and Arnold Plaza of La Union, NM.; brothers. Marc (Katie) Plaza of Austin, TX and Arnold (Mona) Plaza of Las Cruces, NM.; sister. Melissa (Paul) Ryan of Monmouth Beach, NJ, Andrea (Richard Dill) Plaza of Little Silver, NJ, and Marisusan Plaza of El Paso, TX; nieces, Rae and Rebekah Plaza, nephews, Cliff and Max Dill, Austin Ryan, Jesse and Roman Plaza; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial mass will be Friday, April 8, 2016, at 10 a.m. In the Chapel at St Patrick's Cathedral in El Paso, Texas.
