Alejandro Paredes Hurtado

Alejandro Paredes Hurtado, 50, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 20, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Alejandro was born October 2, 1974, in Michoacan, Mexico, to Rafael Paredes Lopez and Delfina Hurtado Tzintzun. He worked as a mechanic.

Alejandro was a member of the Catholic Church. He had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. He was friendly to everyone he met and was a wonderful friend. It was so easy for him to make friends and he got along with everyone. If you knew him, you loved him! He was so loved by his many friends and family. He will be dearly missed.

Alejandro is survived by his girlfriend, Veronica Contreras of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Alejandro Paredes of Twin Falls, ID; nephew, Pedro Paredes of Boise, ID; friend, Fernando Sarabia of Idaho Falls, ID; friend, Manuel Vega of Idaho Falls, ID; niece, Brenda (Servando Garcia) Garcia of Paul, ID; friend, Eliseo Vega of Idaho Falls, ID; stepson, Juan Manuel (Paola Guzman) Contreras of Idaho Falls, ID; siblings, Yolanda (Jesus Cervantes) Paredes, Rafael Paredes, Irene (Aldo Lopez) Lopez, Amalia Paredes, Patricia (Francisco Vergara) Paredes, Guadalupe Paredes, Rosario (Jesus Leon) Paredes, Juan Carlos (Christina Ponce) Paredes, Isabel Paredes, and Gustavo Paredes; in-laws, Mariana and Jorge Guevara; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents; sister, Dora Paredes Hurtado; brother, Pedro Paredes Hurtado; nephew, Juan Daniel Quiroz Paredes; and nephew, Sigifredo Paredes Guierrez.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 905 South Lee, Idaho Falls, Idaho. A visitation will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
