Alden Henry Hardrath of Idaho Falls, passed away on April 1, 2014. Alden was born April 13, 1923 in Owen, Wisconsin to Louis Henry Hardrath and Alalia Scheel Hardrath. On June 20, 1941 he married Ethel Sarah Clouse. They were truly meant for one another. He is survived by his wife of 70 years and two children, Douglas (Deb) Hardrath and Kay (Max) Hahn. He has 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Inez and two brothers, Harley and Richard. He owned a dairy farm in Wisconsin from 1941 until he moved to Idaho in 1962. He was employed at Taylor Chevrolet, Monte's Trailer Sales, BA Wackerli and Smith Chevrolet. He appreciated by friends, family and co-workers for his great sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and snowmobiling along with spending time with family and friends. Al and Ethel were very proud of having 5 generations on her side as well as his. He will be missed by all. A family service was held April 5, 2014 at the Taylor Cemetery. A memorial will be held at a later date.
