Albert William Simmons

Albert William Simmons, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 2, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Albert was born January 2, 1945, in Dillon, Montana, to Albert William Simmons and Emma Pearl Willey Simmons.

Albert married Susan Mae Quinton. She passed away in December of 1986. On November 13, 1992, he married Patricia Jo Cochran in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Albert and Patricia made their home in Idaho Falls where Albert worked as a laborer for Idaho Supreme.

Albert enjoyed the outdoors, spending his time fishing, camping, and wood hauling. He loved to tease anyone and everyone.

Albert is survived by his wife, Patricia Jo Simmons of Idaho Falls, ID; children, Michael Simmons of Bozeman, MT, Daniel (Emillie) Simmons of Bozeman, MT, Nacole (Mark) Hart of Idaho Falls, ID, Eric (Deanna) Simmons of Iona, ID, Michael (Bonnie) Bates of Firth, ID, Shannon Reeves of Idaho Falls, ID, Jason Reeves of Idaho Falls, ID, and Christin Reeves of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters, Ruth (Steve) Irvine of Idaho Falls, ID, Jane Reading of Ririe, ID, and Mary Neva (Keith) Randolph of Portland, ID. Albert has 28 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Another one of his greatest joys was raising two grandchildren, Shantel and Cody Reeves of Idaho Falls, ID, and his great granddaughter, Akira Reeves of Idaho Falls, ID.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jon Jay Simmons; first wife, Susan Simmons; niece, Paula Hansen; and son, Doug Simmons.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Falls Baptist Church, 6070 South 15th East, Idaho Falls, Idaho.

A potluck luncheon will follow the service.
