Agnes Hay Ball

AGNES BALL SHELLEY, ID -- Agnes Sharlene Ball, 68, of Shelley, Idaho, died July 1, 2005, at her home in Shelley from cardiac arrest. She was born November 12, 1936, in Brigham City, Utah, to Harry Hay and Elizabeth Ann Wright Hay. She was raised by Ernest and Jessie Buck after the death of her mother shortly after her birth. The family moved to Idaho and she attended schools in Menan and Rigby. She married Dale Aaron Ball April 9, 1955 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They are the parents of two daughters and one son. She was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved spending time with her family – four grandsons and one granddaughter – and enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, mining for gold and fishing. Survivors include: Husband: Dale Aaron Ball, Shelley, ID Daughter: Dalene Serr, Idaho Falls Daughter: Jessie (Marvin) Fowler, Ogden, UT Son: Aaron Ball, Shelley Brother: Donald (Ruth) Hay, Monida, MT Sister: Florence Whitehead, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Rosalee Byington, Idaho Falls, ID 5 Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harry Hay. Graveside Services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery with Bishop Barry Hansen of the Shelley LDS 2nd Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, before traveling to the cemetery.
