Adan Guerrero Trejo, 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 13, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Adan was born April 28, 1961, in Francisco I. Madero, Zimapán, Hidalgo, Mexico, to Jesus Guerrero and Felicitas Trejo. He grew up and attended schools in Francisco I. Madero.
He married Isabel Guerrero, and they had three children, Mellonie, Leslie, and Chelsea. Adan worked seasonally in Idaho in agriculture. He eventually qualified for amnesty and brought his family to the United States with him. Adan and Isabel later divorced.
On November 19, 2010, he married Araceli Rodriguez in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They had one daughter, Geleni Guerrero. Adan and Araceli made their home in Idaho Falls where Adan worked as a general laborer for Wackerli Auto.
He was a man of faith and believed in Jesus Christ. He introduced Araceli to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended there before he got sick.
Adan is survived by his wife, Araceli Rodriguez of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Mellonie Guerrero of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Leslie Guerrero of Afton, WY; daughter, Chelsea Guerrero of Menan, ID; daughter, Geleni Guerrero; 4 siblings; and 9 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sibling.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
