Adam Nelson

Kellen Adam Nelson, 36, of Phoenix, Arizona, and formerly of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away November 6, 2023, in Phoenix.

Adam was born June 20, 1987, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Kellen Ralph Nelson and Barbara Arlene Vaughan. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. He also attended Idaho State University.

Adam was a member of the Idaho Falls Symphony for a time and was a professional dance instructor. He was also a member of the Idaho State University Orchestra.

He was a Christian. He loved to play the violin, travel to other countries, dance, and spend time with family and friends.

Adam is survived by his father, Kellen R. Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Barbara Arlene Vaughan of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, David Hirschman of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Travis Nelson of Phoenix, AZ; and sister, Chantelle Nelson of Redding, CA.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Donna Nelson, Elgan and Jackie Vaughan, his brother, Dante Wilcox, and Auntie Allene Olson, as well as many other loved family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Watersprings Church, in the fellowship hall, 4250 South 25th East. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
