Veda Lazzarotto

Veda June Standley Wilde Lazzarotto, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away on December 4, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society Idaho Falls Village. She was born October 18, 1928, in Idaho Falls to Joseph Hyrum Standley and Viola Russell Standley. She grew up in the area and attended schools in Ammon. On Dec. 5,1949, she married Clarence Otto Wilde. He preceded her in death on Mar. 10,1978. On September 13, 1980, she married Amerigo Lazzarotto in Elko, Nevada. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2003. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker. She also worked in the bakery at Albertsons as a cake decorator. She served on the Residents Council at Good Samaritan Village. Veda loved bingo and enjoyed bowling, embroidery, sewing, plastic canvas needlework, cake decorating, and spending time in Yuma, Arizona after her retirement. Survivors are: Son: Lonnie (Rose) Wilde, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Carma (Gary) Messler, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Lynn (Sandy) Wilde, Irwin, ID Son: Leslie Wilde, Boise, ID Brother: Glen (Larue) Standley, Idaho Falls, ID 12 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dortha Workman, Luella Lovell, Zelma Coburn, Keith Standley, LaVere Standley, and John Standley. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Chapel (840 E. Elva) with her son, Lynn Wilde, officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 12 noon until 12:45 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Village. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
