Kevin O. Keefe

Kevin was born in San Diego, California, on October 10th, 1957, and passed away in the comfort of his home in the arms of his loving wife of 38 years on March 16th, 2020. He was 62 years old.

Kevin spent most of his young years growing up in Montana on Flathead Lake where his love of the outdoors blossomed. He attended the University of Montana. Kevin then joined the US Navy and served 12 years. After his service, he began his career at Argonne/INL where he worked 23 years and retired as a Nuclear Operations Manager.

Kevin was a devoted husband and loving father with a fantastic sense of humor. He enjoyed camping, kayaking, woodworking, playing cribbage, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a strong believer in the Christian faith and knew God as his true Lord and Savior. Kevin and Sheila were active in both their churches: St. John Lutheran in Idaho Falls, and Zion Lutheran in Ashton, Idaho.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Sheila Keefe (Schlepp); his children, Allicia Keefe and Melissa Jenkins Danielle Tolbert; and his 6 grandkids.

A private service will be held for the family at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Wood East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The services will be broadcast live for the general public to view at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
