Hazel Arlene Moore Williams, 97, of Idaho Falls, passed away on November 24, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born August 5, 1918, in Buena Vista, Virginia to James Thomas Moore and Hassie Mildred Hamilton Moore. She grew up in the area and attended Parry McCluer Elementary School. On March 16, 1940, she married James Lawrence Williams. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 6, 1956. James preceded her in death on August 27, 2001. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Hazel was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in numerous callings including Young Women’s President, District Young Women’s President, and Visiting Teacher. She enjoyed crocheting, especially Christmas Angels; scrapbooking, and baking. Survivors are: Son: Dennis Revo (Patricia) Williams, Pocatello, Idaho Daughter: Gail Arden Davis, Idaho Falls, Idaho Son: Jerel Lamone (Angela) Williams, Cameron, Missouri 21 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Darryl Chandler Williams; a daughter, Cheryl Marlene Stevens; a granddaughter, Robin Davis; and son-in-law, Don Kent Davis. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2015, at the Ucon LDS Stake Center (3967 East 105 North) with Bishop Ryan Loftus, of the Ucon Homestead Ward, officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 6-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and on Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
