ANNA KUMP Click here to view Anna's Video Tribute IDAHO FALLS, ID -- On February 5, 2009, Anna Kump, 75, of Idaho Falls, returned home to the arms of our Savior. She died of natural causes due to Alzheimer’s. She was born September 13, 1933, to Naomi Rasmussen Stringfellow and Henry Stringfellow in Draper, Utah. She grew up in Ogden, Utah, where she attended elementary through high school. She attended Weber State College and Brigham Young University, where she graduated with a degree in elementary education. She remained an avid BYU sports fan throughout her life. On December 2, 1960, Anna married Mac Dean Kump in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. They resided in Rupert, Twin Falls, and Idaho Falls, Idaho. She taught third grade, preschool, and in the Migrant and Chapter 1 programs. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many organizations, including Primary and as a Stake Missionary. She enjoyed shopping, being with friends and family, gardening, traveling, and watching sports events. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love and influence will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her five children, Deanna (Steve) Chorian of Canton, MI; Alan (Shauna) Kump of Idaho Falls, ID; David (Jennifer) Kump of Tabaccoville, NC; Bryan (Breanna) Kump of Idaho Falls, ID; and Cheryl (Jared) Kidman of Idaho Falls, ID; her sixteen grandchildren; and three siblings, Elden (Marilyn) Stringfellow of Mesa, AZ; Myrna (Russ) Messerly of Ogden, UT; and Mary (Val) Bitton of Sunset, UT. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and three siblings, Alona Pusey, Reed Stringfellow, and Doug Stringfellow. In honor of her life, funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the Idaho Falls LDS Stake Center, 1155 First Street. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
