Sandie (Bohi) Weeks

Sandra “Sandie” Bohi Weeks, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 5, 2019, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.  She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

Sandie was born April 24, 1954, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to William Hyrum Bohi and Emma Marie Howell Bohi.  She grew up and attended schools in Idaho and Montana.

Sandie met Ferren Weeks while working with adults with developmental disabilities, a population they both had so much love for. They married and together adopted two daughters. They were later divorced.

Sandie met Kenny Bedwell and they spent the next thirty years together. Sandie and Kenny made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Sandie worked as a disability advocate in education.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandson Kenson.

Sandie is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Bedwell of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Jessica (Tyler) Juber of Salem, OR; daughter, Megan Weeks of Sevierville, TN; sister, Diana Walton of Idaho Falls, ID; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dean Bohi and Larry Bohi, and sister, Colleen Bohi.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.  The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.  Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
