Jamie Lee (Devaney) Zimmer

Jamie Lee Zimmer, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 19, 2019, at Good Samaritan Society Idaho Falls Village.

Jamie was born December 3, 1957, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Donald Everett Devaney Sr. and Myrna Lee Still Devaney.  She grew up and attended schools in Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School.  She also attended Idaho State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in business management and culinary arts.

She was a member of United Pentecostal Church.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading and Holstein cows. She loved people and children. She loved her cat, “Girlfriend”, who spent 22 years with her.

Jamie is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer Lee Morgan of Hawarden, IA; son, Arlie (Megan) Richardson of Inverness, FL; sister, Donna Devaney of Meridian, ID; sister, Julie (Thomas) Buckheister of Reno, NV; brother, John (Diane) Devaney of Pocatello, ID; brother, Donald Devaney, Jr. of Pocatello, ID; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin babies who were stillborn.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the Mountain View Christian Center (4475 N. Ammon Road).
