Beneranda Osornio Flores

Beneranda Osornio Flores, 70, of Blackfoot, passed away June 27, 2019, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Beny was born November 13, 1948, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Francisco Antonio Osornio Velazquez and Maria Basaldua Garcia Velazquez. She grew up and attended schools in El Tule.

Beny was an independent woman who raised her children by herself. She was a warrior, an idol, a grand woman. She enjoyed cooking and loved being around family.

Beny is survived by her husband, Merced Flores Palos of Blackfoot, ID; daughter, Dominga Osornio of Monterrey, Mexico; son, Juan Antonio Flores Osornio of Tampico, Mexico; daughter, Maria (Marco) Arvizu of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Reyna (Guadalupe Chairez) Flores Osornio of OK; son, Mauricio (Aracely Duran) Flores Osornio of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Guadalupe Osornio of FL; sister, Hortencia Osornio of Tampico, Mexico; brother, Santos Osornio of Tampico, Mexico; brother, Bernardo Osornio of FL; brother, Lorenzo Osornio of Tampico, Mexico; brother, Antonio Osornio of CA; 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
