Life Legacy

Francisco Martinez Crisostomo from Mexico D.F. passed away at the age of 93 on September 11, 2011 at his home.

Francisco was born May 27, 1918 to Roman Crisostomo and Piedad Martinez Crisostomo.

Francisco married Sophia Sevilla Hernandez in Mexico City, March 15th, 1972. During WWII 1945 he moved to Minnesota and worked in textiles, he later moved to Arizona and lived there until 2005.

He had many skills in the manufacturing industries and farm work as well as being a dedicated father.

Francisco was of the Catholic faith, loved gardening, travel, cooking, music and sharing wonderful stories of his life and that of his children.

Our father Francisco was loved and admired by all his family and friends. His smile would make your day brighter. He always made time for his children and others he met throughout his life. He knew no strangers, He always treated everyone equally, and we are all God’s Children in his eyes. Francisco as a young boy was very proud of the fact that his father and mother had marched along side of Poncho Villa. We believe that by the examples set by his parents he lived and demonstrated it in his home and in his daily life. Our dad learned to have a strong work ethic at a young age and it followed him throughout his entire life .He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Our father saw beauty in all things, which is why we can say that because of his upbringing, he learned that being honest, moral and hard working had its own rewards. These are just some of the thing that he tried to instill in all his children. His strong faith in his church and our Heavenly Father gave him strength at his most difficult times in his life. He was a true GENTLEMAN! God blessed us when he chose Francisco to be our father here on earth.

Daddy your children and extended families will miss you, but you will always be deep in our hearts and in our daily thoughts. Until we are once again together, we’ll just say,” See you later, we love you”
