EVA SANCHEZ

IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Evangelina “Eva” Hernandez Sanchez, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 28, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 29, 1948, in Aguililla, Michoacan, Mexico, to Leopoldo Hernandez and Antonia Diaz. She grew up and attended school in Mexico. She came to Idaho Falls in 1978.

She married Leopoldo Sanchez in May, 1998, in Idaho Falls . He preceded her in death on May 26, 2003. She worked at Idaho Fresh Pack for 18 years.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, being a homemaker, and spending time with her family.

Daughter: Morayma (Roberto) Zamora, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Yvette Sanchez, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Miguel Hernandez, Michoacan, Mexico
Sister: Elvira Navarro, Michoacan, Mexico
Sister: Anna Espinoza, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Imelda Medina, Santa Rosa, CA
8 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers and two sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1690 East 17th Street. with Father Joe McDonald officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday beginning at 5 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., with Vigil Rosary at 7 p.m.

Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
